About the Jen Jones Behind Bob Loblaw’s LawBlog
With over a decade of experience as a writer and media maestro within all facets of the entertainment industry, Jen Jones received her Juris Doctorate in 2006, with an educational focus on intellectual property and entertainment law. Jen Jones is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and is currently a publicist, Web editor and new media & institutional relations spokesperson for UNC-TV, the statewide public television network of the University of North Carolina.
Jen Jones, who goes by both names at all times due to the alarming, nay, disheartening, number of Jens and Jennifers in her generation, has been published in countless tiny newspapers and magazines across the great state of North Carolina, sometimes with bylines of her very own. Rarely, she can be read in larger papers under the misnomer, “staff writer.” Most recently, you can also find her partisan political yammerings featured at the underrated, but ever-important, blog, nothanksjohn.com.
Right now, Jen Jones is an entertaining lawyer (in that she is not currently practicing law), and, with practice aspires to be an entertaining writer. This blog is an ode to the late television series, Arrested Development, as well as whatever arrested developments are happening in Jen Jones’ world from day to day.
That’s a lot people.
